First of all we like to point out the ICPBC is independent of any bit brand. In that we differ from many others. We don't promote our own brand or stuff. We work with all kind of brands, because we don't believe one brand fits all horses. The ICPBC just want best for the horse. So if the bit fits the horse, we don't care what kind of brand and not every horse assessed in a bitfit consult needs another bit.
But what will you learn? An professional ICPBC bitfit consultant knows more than only the basics of the anatomy of the horse's mouth: the consultant also knows about the biomechanics of the horse, has relevant osteopathic and muscle therapy insights and knows the pro and cons of all sort of bits used in various disciplines. Therefore they can asses a contact issue from multiple points of view, with a bit and bridle as their tool, but not their only tool.
The entire course takes approximately a year.
